 CALCULATING GRADE POINT AVERAGE (GPA)


The final examination results and assessments at the end of every semester are assigned a Grade Point Average (GPA) and a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) which represent a student’s academic achievement .
A Grade Point Average (GPA) refers to the calculated average of the letter grades a student earns in each semester following 0 to 4.0 scale .

GPA   = WG / CH 
        = 44.36/15
=2.96


  • FORMULA USED FOR THE CALCULATION OF THE CUMULATIVE GRADE POINT AVERAGE (CGPA) 


  • HOW TO CALCULATE CGPA 

CGPA   = WCCGPA / CH 
= 198 / 57 
=3.47

  •   In order to earn a GPA of 3.00 in the second semester, Amelia must score at least B in all subjects. Amelia also has to battle more and get at least A-in every topic.
